Industry Technology Integration Standard (HITIS) |
The
goal of HITIS is to identify those functions that are used
by all the various devices existing in Hotels and Motels and
to standardize the implementation of these functions. The
American Hotel and Motel Association has initiated the Hospitality
Industry Technology Integration Standards (HITIS) project
in an attempt to address the specifications for each class
of devices. |

Reference
Model Special Interest Group |
The
IFITT Reference Model Special Interest Group serves as a forum
for discussing and elaborating a methodology for harmonizing
electronic tourism markets. Instead of a fix standardization,
the purpose of the IFITT RMSIG is the elaboration and commitment
of an open, flexible specification of electronic tourism markets,
a reference model. Its central function is bringing together
the different market participants and tourism domain experts
to ensure a broad acceptance of the reference model
